This year, the Franco-Irish literary festival celebrates its 26th edition. For more than a quarter of a century, it has been gathering writers from diverse backgrounds, brought together by their passion for literature and cultural dialogue. On that firm foundation, the festival continues to innovate by bringing us a programme full of novelty.
It is thanks to your support and enthusiasm since its inception that our festival contributes year after year to the glowing reputation of Dublin as a Unesco city of literature.
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you again, for this new edition which will take place for the first time entirely in the historical building of the Alliance Française in Dublin city centre. A place filled with history, where culture, language and ideas intersect.
Each year the festival presents a central theme and writers, professionals or artists are given the opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas on the subject in an informal setting. Panel discussions, interviews, readings, book sales, signings take place over the 4 days of the Festival.
For the first time, the Festival will fully take place at Alliance Française Dublin and take over the entire iconic listed building.
